7.5 METRES | 22kW

For the charger on the other side of the garage

Garages rarely put the power point where the charge port ends up. If your wallbox is on the far wall, or you swap between parking nose-in and reversing in, 7.5 metres gives you the reach to run the cable around the car instead of stretching it across the bonnet. It still packs into the included carry bag when it travels with you.

22kW Three-Phase

Up to 120km of range per hour. Auto-adjusts to 7kW single-phase too.

Australian Certified

RCM, CE, UKCA, CB, TUV and RoHS compliant.

Built for Aussie Weather

IP54 rated, operates from -35°C to +50°C.

2-Year Warranty

10,000+ plug cycles tested. Backed by local Adelaide support.

WHO IT SUITS

The situations 7.5m was made for

  • Double garages: charger on one side wall, car parked on the other side.
  • Two EVs, one charger: enough length to reach either car without moving them.
  • Parking that changes: nose-in on weekdays, reversed in on weekends, and the port ends up at the other end of the car.
  • Awkward public bays: the post is at the end of the space rather than beside your port.

Measure along the path the cable will really take, around wheels and bumpers, and add half a metre. If you land between 5 and 7 metres, this is your length. Under that, the 5m is lighter to handle.

COMPARE LENGTHS

Is 7.5m more than you need?

  • 3m: wallbox right beside the charge port.
  • 5m: a standard single garage or carport.
  • 7.5m: this cable. Across the garage, two cars, or changing park positions.
  • 10m: long driveways and kerbside parking.

22kW rating, single-phase house? Expect around 7kW at home. The 22kW rating matters at three-phase public chargers and if you ever upgrade your supply. If neither applies, the 7.5m 7kW version does the same job at home.

HANDLING A LONGER CABLE

Made to be run across a garage floor

A longer cable spends more of its life on the ground, so it needs to cope with being stepped on, dragged and occasionally driven over. The handles are rated to withstand up to a tonne of pressure, and the connectors are tested beyond 10,000 plug cycles.

  • Silver-plated copper alloy pins and a flame-retardant shell
  • IP54 rated against dust and splashes, -35°C to +50°C
  • Coil it in loose loops rather than tight wraps, and hang it on a holster dock to keep it off the floor between charges

7.5M CABLE QUESTIONS

Often, yes, if the charger sits between the two parking spots or on the back wall of a double garage. Measure to the port of the car that’s furthest away. Only one car charges at a time, so you move the plug across rather than moving the cars.

It takes up more room than a 3m or 5m, but it still fits in the supplied carry bag. At home, a wall-mounted holster dock is the tidiest option.

No noticeable loss. The cable is rated for its full current along its whole length, so your car, charger and supply decide the speed.

If you only ever charge at home on single-phase, the 7kW version does the job. Pick the 22kW if you use three-phase public chargers, have a car that accepts 11kW or more, or might add three-phase power later.

It’s IP54 rated and handles -35°C to +50°C, so rain and summer heat are fine. Fit the dust caps when it’s unplugged, and don’t leave the connectors sitting in pooled water.

If your car has a Type 2 charging port, yes. That covers Tesla, BYD, MG, Hyundai, Kia, Polestar and most other brands sold in Australia. Our compatibility guide covers the rest.

  3. Scott (verified owner) –

I charged with this cable without any issues. The type 2 connectors feel strong to hold and the covers caps are a soft rubber. It feels like a quality product. I have only had it for a short time but seems to be good.

  4. Dan (verified owner) –

Quality product that has been working perfectly fine since purchase. Great price, and even better considering it comes with a free bag to keep the cable organised after use, cheers.
